課程概述 |
Course Description:
This course will explore the intersection between Deleuze and Guattari’s account of minor literature and Venuti’s proposal of minoritizing translation as a way to give voice to the linguistic and cultural differences of the foreign. Emphasis will be placed on the possibility to draw upon related theoretical resources and put such minoritizing ethical stances effectively into literary and media practice in the volatile context of contemporary culture. |

Course Objectives:
This is an independent study course which allows the graduate student to engage in the investigation of a chosen topic by reviewing and analyzing relevant literature. The course work will lead to initial research in preparation for the student’s dissertation work. |
